iPhone 17 Pro Max Price in India (November 2026): All Variants and Best Offers
The iPhone 17 Pro Max launched in India at ₹1,49,900 (256GB), ₹1,69,900 (512GB), ₹1,89,900 (1TB) and ₹2,29,900 (2TB). Here are the lowest deals we could verify, the key specs, and whether to buy it or the newer iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Quick answer: The iPhone 17 Pro Max launched in India at ₹1,49,900 (256GB), ₹1,69,900 (512GB), ₹1,89,900 (1TB) and ₹2,29,900 (2TB). Since the iPhone 18 Pro arrived, Apple’s India website no longer lists the 17 Pro Max, so you can now buy it new only through retailers and authorised resellers, usually below launch price. Buy the 256GB model unless you shoot a lot of 4K or ProRes video, and only buy at a clearly discounted price, because the newer iPhone 18 Pro Max is now on sale.

We found no reliable November 2026 price for any variant, so treat the “lowest deal” column as a reference point, not today’s price.

What changed in 2026: it is now last year’s Pro Max
Apple’s India website currently lists the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 17e and iPhone 16. The iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max are no longer on that list. That has three practical effects:
Apple Store offers may not apply. Apple India’s current offers (No Cost EMI, and instant cashback with American Express, Axis Bank or ICICI Bank cards, valid until 11 November 2026) apply to products Apple sells. With the 17 Pro Max off Apple’s line-up, look for deals at retailers instead.
Retail stock is limited. Popular colours and storage sizes may sell out first. Check stock before paying.
The newer model sets the ceiling. Apple says the iPhone 18 Pro Max gets up to 43 hours of video playback, 6 hours more than the 17 Pro Max. A discounted 17 Pro Max only makes sense if the saving is meaningful compared with the 18 Pro Max price on the same day.
Earlier reports said prices might rise. In July 2026, Business Today relayed a tipster’s claim that iPhone 17 prices in India could rise by up to ₹12,000. That was never confirmed, and later reports describe price cuts at retailers, so use the price you actually see on the day.

Which storage variant should you buy?
256GB: the right choice for most people
It is the cheapest variant, and the only one with a verified discount. 256GB holds thousands of photos and many hours of standard 4K video. If you use iCloud or Google Photos, it is enough for most users for several years.
512GB: for heavy video recording
Choose it if you record a lot of 4K at 60 or 120 fps, keep large games offline, or plan to keep the phone for four or more years without cloud storage. It costs ₹20,000 more at launch prices.
1TB and 2TB: for creators who record ProRes
Apple’s ProRes video files are very large. Note that Apple lists ProRes 4K at 120 fps with external recording, meaning to an external drive over USB-C. If you will record to an external SSD anyway, you may not need the 1TB or 2TB model. At ₹1,89,900 and ₹2,29,900 launch prices, these variants make sense only for professional video work.
How to get the best offer (checklist)
Compare at least three sellers on the same day: Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, Vijay Sales, Reliance Digital and Apple Authorised Resellers. Check that the seller is the brand’s authorised partner.
Separate the price cut from the bank offer. A “₹1,35,900 effective price” often requires one specific credit card and a minimum order value. Note the price you pay without the card.
Check No Cost EMI terms. “No Cost” often means the interest is taken off the price as a discount; processing fees and GST on interest may still apply.
Check the exchange value separately. Exchange quotes depend on your old phone’s condition after inspection, and the final value can be lower than the online estimate.
Confirm it is the Indian model with an Indian bill. This matters for warranty claims and resale.
Compare with the iPhone 18 Pro Max price on the same day before you decide.
“Global” deals: is buying abroad cheaper?
Search interest in “iPhone 17 Pro Max global discounts” has spiked in India, which suggests people are comparing Indian prices with other countries. Before buying abroad, or buying an imported unit from a grey-market seller, check three things:
Customs duty: phones above the duty-free allowance must be declared when you return to India. [VERIFY: current baggage allowance and duty rates from the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs]
Warranty: Apple’s warranty terms for iPhones bought in another country can limit service to that country. [VERIFY: Apple’s current warranty wording for India]
SIM type: some countries sell eSIM-only iPhones with no physical SIM tray. [VERIFY: which country’s model is eSIM-only, and Indian carrier eSIM support]
Once tax, warranty risk and currency conversion are counted, a “cheaper” foreign price often saves less than it seems.
Who should buy it, and who should skip it
Buy if you want a large 6.9-inch screen, three 48MP rear cameras with a 4× telephoto, USB 3 for fast cable transfers, and you find it well below launch price.
Consider the iPhone 18 Pro Max if the price gap is small, or if battery life is your top priority. Apple claims 6 more hours of video playback.
Consider the iPhone 17 (still sold by Apple) if you don’t need the telephoto camera, USB 3 or ProRes video. See our iPhone 16 vs iPhone 17 comparison for its specifications.
How we researched this
We used Apple’s official India tech specs page for every specification, two separate publications for launch prices, and dated news reports for deals. We did not test the phone, run benchmarks or contact sellers. Where we could not confirm a current price, we say so instead of estimating.
FAQ
What is the iPhone 17 Pro Max price in India?
Launch prices were ₹1,49,900 (256GB), ₹1,69,900 (512GB), ₹1,89,900 (1TB) and ₹2,29,900 (2TB). Retailers have since sold it below these prices; the lowest dated deal we could verify was ₹1,44,900 for 256GB on Flipkart in August 2026, before bank offers.
Can I still buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max from Apple India?
Apple’s India website no longer lists it (checked 3 November 2026). Look for it at retailers and Apple Authorised Resellers while stock lasts.
Is the iPhone 17 Pro Max made of titanium?
No. Apple lists an aluminium unibody design with a Ceramic Shield 2 front.
Does it support fast charging?
Yes. Apple says it charges to 50% in about 20 minutes with a 40W or higher USB-C adapter, and supports MagSafe and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W.
Should I wait for a bigger discount?
Prices for previous-generation iPhones often fall further during festive and year-end sales, but stock can also run out. If the current price is close to the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the newer model is usually the better buy.
