OnePlus Nord 6 5G Review: Specifications, Price and Features in India

Buying a new smartphone is not just about choosing the fastest processor or the biggest battery. The phone should also offer a good display, reliable performance, useful cameras and value for money. The OnePlus Nord 6 brings several high-end specifications to the table, including a 165Hz AMOLED display, a large battery and fast charging.

Here is what buyers in India should know before spending their money on this phone, from its key specifications and camera hardware to battery life, software support and pricing.

OnePlus Nord 6 5G Price in India

The OnePlus Nord 6 launched in India on 7 April 2026. At launch, the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant was priced at ₹38,999, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant was priced at ₹41,999.

These are the launch prices, not a guarantee of the current selling price. Smartphone prices can change because of price revisions, offers and retailer discounts. Check the official OnePlus India store before making a purchase.

Display and Design

The OnePlus Nord 6 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The high refresh rate is designed to make supported games, scrolling and animations look smoother.

The display also supports high brightness and Aqua Touch technology, which is intended to improve touch response when the screen is wet. Actual results can vary depending on the app, settings and surrounding conditions.

For people who spend a lot of time watching videos, browsing social media or playing games, the large, high-refresh-rate screen is one of the phone’s main attractions.

Processor and Performance

The Indian OnePlus Nord 6 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, according to the product specifications.

This hardware is designed for demanding apps, multitasking and mobile gaming. However, actual gaming performance depends on the game, graphics settings, software version, ambient temperature and how long the phone is used continuously.

Buyers should look at independent performance and gaming tests as well as the specifications before deciding whether the phone suits their needs.

Battery and Charging

Battery capacity is a major highlight of the OnePlus Nord 6. The phone packs a 9,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging. It also offers 27W reverse charging, allowing the phone to supply power to compatible devices.

The large battery may appeal to users who play games, stream videos, navigate or use mobile data throughout the day. Battery life will still depend on screen brightness, network strength, gaming, background apps and other usage habits.

Charging speed and battery endurance claims published by the manufacturer are based on specified test conditions. Real-world results may differ.

Camera Specifications

The OnePlus Nord 6 has a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it features a 32MP selfie camera.

• Main camera: 50MP with dual-axis optical image stabilisation.
• Ultra-wide camera: 8MP.
• Front camera: 32MP.
• Video recording: The main camera supports up to 4K recording at 60 frames per second.

The main camera’s optical stabilisation can help reduce blur caused by small hand movements. The ultra-wide camera is useful for fitting more people or scenery into a frame.

Megapixel counts alone do not determine image quality. Low-light performance, skin tones, dynamic range, autofocus and video stabilisation should also be considered. Check sample photographs and independent camera reviews if photography is a priority.

Software and Updates

The OnePlus Nord 6 launched with Android 16 and OxygenOS 16. OnePlus states that the phone is eligible for four Android OS updates and six years of security updates.

Long-term software support can help buyers keep a phone for several years. The timing of individual updates may vary by region, carrier, software release and device variant.

Durability and Connectivity

OnePlus lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection ratings for the Nord 6. These ratings relate to specified dust and water resistance tests; they do not mean that the phone is suitable for every water-related situation.

Water resistance can diminish with wear and tear. Avoid charging the phone while it is wet, and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.

The device also advertises Wi-Fi 7 support and 5G connectivity features. Actual network speeds depend on the operator, coverage, compatible equipment, network congestion and local availability.

Who Should Consider the OnePlus Nord 6?

The OnePlus Nord 6 may be worth considering if your priorities include a large battery, a high-refresh-rate display, a performance-focused processor and long software support.

It may be less suitable for buyers whose main priority is having the best camera system in the price range. Before buying, compare camera samples, gaming tests, software support and the current selling price with other phones available at the same budget.

Final Verdict

The OnePlus Nord 6 combines a 165Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform, 9,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging and a stated long-term software support policy. These features make it a phone worth evaluating for users who prioritise battery capacity and performance.

However, the right choice depends on the current price and your personal needs. Check the latest price, warranty terms and independent reviews before placing an order.
