Display and design
Both phones have a 6.2-inch FHD+ display at up to 120 Hz. Samsung's page gives the S24's resolution as 2340×1080 with a 1–120 Hz range; it does not list the S25's range in the same way. For most buyers the screens should be treated as equivalent on the evidence available.
Performance and memory
The S25 moves from Exynos 2400 (in the UK) to Qualcomm's 3 nm chip for Galaxy, and from 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM. More memory helps keep apps and on-device AI features resident without reloading. We do not quote benchmarks. If you are outside the UK, check which chip your regional S24 used, because that changes the comparison.
Cameras
Samsung lists identical camera resolutions and apertures for both: 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra wide, 10 MP 3× telephoto and 12 MP front. The S24 entry mentions optical stabilisation on the main and telephoto cameras; the S25 entry on the same page does not repeat that detail, which is a gap in the page rather than evidence of removal. Processing differences are not documented.
Storage, battery and value
The S25 drops the 128 GB tier, starting at 256 GB. Both use a 4000 mAh battery. If you find an S24 at a substantial discount and 8 GB RAM is enough for your apps, it keeps the same display and camera hardware. The page omits weight, charging wattage and update policy.
