Cameras
This is the main reason to buy the Pro. Its ultra wide (48 MP against 13 MP) and telephoto (48 MP against 10.8 MP) have far more pixels, which helps in cropped telephoto shots and in close-up or low-light situations where the camera can combine pixel data. Both have a 5× telephoto. The Pro's 42 MP front camera is a large step from the Pixel 11's 10.5 MP. Google's numbers describe hardware; we did not test image quality.
Display
Both screens are 6.3 inches. The Pro's LTPO panel can drop to 1 Hz, which saves power on static content and enables an efficient always-on display; the Pixel 11 ranges from 60 to 120 Hz. The Pro's 1280×2856 resolution gives 495 PPI against 422 PPI. At typical viewing distance both are sharp; the refresh range is the more noticeable difference.
Performance, battery and charging
Both use Tensor G6, so on-device AI features that depend on the chip should be broadly comparable. The Pixel 11 has 12 GB of RAM; the Pro has 12 GB with 256 GB storage or 16 GB with 512 GB or 1 TB. The Pixel 11's battery is slightly larger (4985 against 4850 mAh), and both charge to about 55% in 30 minutes with a 30W PPS charger and support Qi2.2 wireless up to 25W.
Connectivity and who should buy which
Wi-Fi 7 and Ultra-Wideband on the Pro matter if you use a Wi-Fi 7 router or UWB features such as precise item finding and digital car keys. For most buyers who mainly use the main camera, the Pixel 11 keeps the same chip, charging and update length.
